When it comes to holiday sets, I always find that it is interesting to examine in more details the value of the set and compare it to the other blush sets that Tarte offers this year.

I also find that they last a very long time on the skin, since I could still see it on my skin after very long days (around 12 hours of wearing makeup). I tested them both on top of liquid foundation and on top of powder foundation and got great results in both cases. I found the blushes very easy to blend and they have the perfect degree of pigmentation. However, the BBB3 was manufactured in China and that can introduce a slight different in formula, since the original blushes are manufactured in the USA. I do not currently own any of the regular amazonian clay blushes or highlighters and I cannot speak of how the formula of the BBB3 compares with the regular formula.
The picture below shows how all the products of the palette fit in an x-large MUFE magnetic palette. However, this is something I was aware of before buying and I planned on de-potting all the blushes in the palette and store them in a magnetic palette before I even received it. The palette is made out of styrofoam and it does not close in a secure manner. I’ve heard a lot of complaining about the packaging of the palette being very cheap and too big and my opinion is no different.

I really like the shade range of this palette which contains a few pinks, a few corals, a peachy shade and a champagne highlighter.Įach blush or highlighter contains 5.6 grams of product, which is similar to the full size tarte Amazonian clay blushes.
The colours included in the palette are all new shades and are not part of the permanent collection. The BBB3 is a blush palette that contains 7 blushes and 1 highlighter of their Amazonian clay range.
